ABOUT THE TRIP
Every year on June 21st, cities around the globe gather together to celebrate their love for skateboarding. This day is known as “International Go Skate Day”. We’ve been to some of the biggest cities in the world and definitely many that have a love for skateboarding but we’ve yet to discover a city with a passion so deep for skateboarding as Medellin, Colombia!
This was our third trip to Colombia but stood out as maybe of the best trips we’ve ever led as an organization. In early 2018 we received an email from one of the government leaders requesting our support to help them host Go Skate Day - Medellin. Given the opportunity to partner alongside the city to gather 2,000+ skaters, host numerous events, contests, and then in the midst of all of it to get to share a message of hope found in Jesus, we knew it was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.

& LONGTERM VISION
Medellin is unlike many other places we’ve ever traveled. There are literally skateparks all over the city and the need for youth leadership is huge. Drugs and alcohol are a major issue in this city and while the government is working on trying to reach out to many of the youth, we are praying for leaders that can continue to invest directly into the lives of the skate and BMX community in this city.
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
